We attach great importance to providing the right people with the information they need to achieve the goals we set together. Therefore, we attach great importance to a permanent, continuous flow of information throughout the project. For this we document our work, our employees inform each other, give themselves backup and involve the client comprehensively, where it makes sense. If questions arise, quick answers and the correct comprehensibility of our services are the prerequisites for a goal-oriented discussion. Our planning is checked, validated and subsequently optimized by reviews. Proximity to the customer is a matter of course.

Our particular strengths lie in the use of three-dimensional CAD planning, since different planning levels such as equipment, frames and piping are brought together. This enables us to implement optimal system planning. The range of our processing options extends from pure drawing work on a small scale to large projects with complete processing of the installation planning and detailed engineering.

Scan Team
Mobile Scan Team
Our mobile scan team is an important part of our projects. The use of state-of-the-art laser scanning at the customer’s site delivers relevant project data quickly, precisely and efficiently.
Terrestrial laser scanning

The result of a 3D laser scan as part of terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) is a three-dimensional point cloud and thus a complete image of the measurement scene. We then use the point cloud for design, documentation and planning.

The advancing digitization makes the need for 3D inventory and planning data relevant. With our mobile scan team, we offer the possibility to collect the necessary data at any time, both at the start of the project and during the project. We have equipped our scan team with mobile equipment so that we can always be on site at short notice with our specially equipped scan vehicle.

How it all started
The engineering office IBS Sbresny was founded in 1973. Since then we have been active in technical plant construction. Our work focuses on installation planning and detailed pipeline engineering for the chemical, petrochemical, food production, pharmaceutical and power plant sectors.

The company’s headquarters are in Lüdinghausen. We provide the majority of the planning services in our branch on the premises of the Marl chemical park. Our team consists of more than 40 employees – engineers, designers, technical draftsmen and commercial employees.

The history of IBS is more than 45 years long. Only those who have the will to adapt their skills continually to the needs can be successful in the market for so long. We have always been and are still willing to change as neccessary. Having the right technology available and mastering it is one thing, bringing the right people together in a team is another. Is this interchangeable? Is that what many companies say about themselves? Might be. We do not only claim that, we live it. Our history proves that. If you consider the responsibility we have in our projects, anything else would not only be presumptuous, but negligent. In our company, many employees have families and are aware of the responsibility of being involved in the planning of chemical industrial plants. Mastering the technology and the craft of the engineer is the prerequisite, always keeping an eye on the real buildings being created and having them as a goal – in their function, their economic efficiency and even their industrial aesthetics – this is our claim and our goal.
For me personally, this company is more than just a place to work. My father founded this company, ran it with me and handed it over to me. I grew up with this company, gained experience during my studies and with other employers, and in 2008 I made a conscious decision to return home – back to the region I came from and to the company that now accompanies the third generation of my family.
